AFLW coach, Sarah, has recently announced her resignation due to a cancer diagnosis. Sarah has been a coach for the AFLW for the past three years and has been a major part of the team’s success.
Sarah’s diagnosis has come as a shock to the team and the entire AFLW community. She has been a beloved coach and mentor to many of the players and her presence will be sorely missed.
In her statement, Sarah said, “I am so sorry to have to leave the team at this time, but I must focus on my health and recovery. I am so proud of the team and all that we have achieved together. I will continue to support the team from afar and wish them all the best for the future.”
Sarah’s courage and strength in the face of adversity is an inspiration to us all. We wish her a speedy recovery and thank her for her dedication to the AFLW.
